  • Scheduled sessions cannot be cancelled.
  • In the case of a missed session, a make-up session can be scheduled with the addition of a $20 fee.
  • If a rescheduled session is missed, parents will still be charged the $20.00 fee and will not have a third opportunity to reschedule for the original session.
  • Rescheduled sessions must be made within 30 days following the missed session and with the original instructor.
  • In the case of withdrawing a child, two-weeks notice must be submitted in written form.

A positive relationship between parents/guardians and teachers is an important aspect of monitoring a child's educational development. Regular discussion and collaboration regarding a child's progress is strongly encouraged and, because of this, the following guidelines are set.

  • Parents are expected to drop off and pick up child on time. The waiting area will not be supervised, as teachers will most likely be in session with other children.
  • If parents wish to inquire about their child's progress, it is best to do so during child's allotted time. If there are urgent questions and concerns, e-mailing administration will allow for a more thorough discussion.
  • Teachers are expected to be punctual and professional.

  • To ensure consistent communication between parents and teachers, progress reports will be sent home after every 20 hours of tutoring in a particular subject area.
  • After every 40 hours of tutoring time in a particular subject area, children who are enrolled in a individualized program will be reassessed using the CAT3 (There will be no additional fees for this assessment, as it will fall under scheduled tutoring time). This will give parents a clear understanding regarding their child's progress. A re-assessment report will be sent home to summarize the results.
